The Slovenian Section of IBBY – International Board on Books for Young People

Liljana Klemenčič acted as Head of the children's and youth department at the Ptuj City Library for 40 years. She was the first Slovenian librarian to combine storytime with yoga, and she also proposed and developed the Reading Badge competition for adults. She authored many reviews, newspaper articles dealing with literature and professional articles. Liljana Klemenčič is known as an excellent storyteller both for children and adults with a unique storytelling style.
